Currentl inspiration
I've always loved things with a history, vintage and antique. So it's logical that the trips to local flea markets and antique shops are amongs my favorite things to do. I love to check old jewelry. Also, I found passion in buying broken pieces and creating something new and beautiful.
P.S. I can't figure out how to post photos to this blog directly from my computer. If someone can explain that to me...

How to prepare your jewelry stand and what to take with you.
In this post I'd like to share some of the ideas that had helped me to organize my jewelry stand. First of all, I needed to select the items I was going to sell, so I chose jewelry pieces that are different in style and price range. Second, I didn't want my jewelry to simply lie on a table, therefore I decided to take some of the boxes, earring display stands and necklace displays to arrange the pieces.
Also, I asked my friend to assist me and it was such a great idea. She helped me with placing the jewelry, talking to customers when I was busy, and distributing business cards.
Other things to keep in mind:
-I put some chocolates on my table to attract customers and talked to them while they were unwrapping the sweets
- Taking some tools with me was very useful, because one of the customers wanted to shorten a necklace and I was able to fix it quickly
- Mirror. Of course, you want to see how earrings or necklace look on you.
- A small notebook to make notes. Some of the customers wanted to customize pieces so I wouldn't remember all the details without my notebook.
It was my first time selling jewelry using a stand and I was a bit nervous at the beginning, but later it was just awesome to communicate with a lot of interesting people and see that they like what I have created.

My jewelry stand.
So if you come to visit South Florida and want to learn more about Latin culture in general and Cuban salsa in particular come to Salsa Mia.
Well one of the days I brought my jewelry there. It was my first experience organizing a jewelry stand, but I think everything went just great. It was fun interacting with customers telling them about my jewelry. One of my friends was helping me and I have to tell it's a really big deal when someone
can help you.

Restored vintage necklace.
I've purchased some broken vintage necklaces which I wanted to restore, because they were so beautiful. I love the structure and the vintage look of the beads, but even more I love the charms. I didn't have enough original beads so I had to dance around and add some other components and beads.
Please tell me what you think.

More flowers
I added fabric flowers to bring a new look to a dress that I've already worn before. It's a great and fast way make clothes look different. I've also created these gorgeous two-toned earrings to complement the dress.
Look how this flower can upstyle a look in just a second.

Nature inspiration. Trees.
Today I'd like to share my Tree of Life pendants.
1. This was my first tree of life. I used two-toned wire and turquoise chips. I really love the color of the stones. It looks so natural, so leaves-like. After I gifted the pendant to my friend for her baby shower, her mother-in-law asked me to make a tree. She asked me to add some pink stones for her three grand children. Unfortunately I didn't make a picture of that lovely necklace.

2. I made this tree after beeing inspired by beautiful Japaneese sakura trees I saw on the internet. For this pendant I used dyed turquoise beads, rose quartz chips and moonstone beads. So far this is my favorite tree pendant.
3. Look at the color of these beads! Don't you love it! I thought it would look beautiful and funky if I combine this indigo-blue wire with hot pink beads. I also love the structure of acrylic icy beads.
